enable disassembly . example 04
Active Disessembly (“active disassembly”) expresses the design of a product that uses materials or processes that allow movement or detachment under the effect of a stimulus, so that it can be disassembled in a hierarchical and non- destructive. Dr. Chido's work began in the early 1990s and initially focused on design for disassembly where automated processes were needed. A solution to the disassembly problem, guided by design and using smart materials and processes was born. This reduces the average disassembly time, especially when processing large numbers of parts.
to remember.
An important element of the circular economy consists of the ability to separate products into subassemblies or elements that can be reused for some, remanufactured or remanufactured for others, or even effectively recycled. The design for disassembly includes consideration of fastening systems that allow efficient disassembly.
